Long Forgotten

Fourteen-year-old Hazel was born with blindness, 20/500 to be exact. Over the years she has dealt with the struggle of how to overcome major obstacles such as reading, writing, and especially bullies. Although there were some difficult times, one girl named Brooklyn or Brook; was with her along the way. Brook was always filled with enthusiasm and confidence, though one day it all changed. Her personality vaporized into a complete husk of who she once was. It soon got worse when this once passionate student, began missing school, days at a time. The last straw was when the school announced that her family was moving out of state in a few weeks; causing Brook to become distant towards her. Distressed, confused and outright concerned, Hazel feels helpless and alone. Not to mention the fact how everyone in her family disregards her worries. Every night tossing and turning in her bed, Hazel was constantly restless about the situation. Until one particular night on her Fifteenth birthday where strange recurring images appeared to her in her mind. Filled with determination, and using the help of these dreams; she strives to solve this mystery before it's too late.
