What is love? There are lots of definition of love, lots of versions, different meanings, different phases but what does it take to conquer true love? At this point of time, does true love really exist?

I was inspired by Louisa May Alcott's novel Little Women. It is a lot similar with my story but instead of girls, the characters in my short story were boys. The characters in my story have different personalities that may compliment each other's differences or completely destroy their bonds as brothers. Another thing is that my characters were metaphors on different issues and problems our country has been facing recently.

Twist of Fate follows the lives, loves and tribulations of four brothers as they struggle for survival, hope, and peace. This short story explores the lives of Liam, 17 year-old, the breadwinner of the family, Rico, 23-years old, Joseph, 21-years old, and Patrick, 15-years old.
Liam, a 17-year old construction worker, journeyed across time to search for the true meaning of love.

As a breadwinner, he sacrificed his happiness for his mother and three brothers, but with the twist of fate, will he be finally able to feel the product of his labor? Or is it all just a waste of time and effort?

Runaway Girl

8 parts Ongoing

After four years of secret meetings and stolen moments, I finally plucked up the courage to confess my feelings. Instead of admitting the same, he chose to humiliate me in front of the world, betraying me in the process. The internet coined me the Runaway Girl. When all he wanted was for me to run back to him. I left him in my rear view and never planned on turning back. If only he kept to his word and stayed there.
