Katherine is broken hearted by Liam who left her a year ago. Katherine tries to overcome her sadness by meeting and talking to new people. Katherine has to move on but she's still stuck on Liam even after he was quick to leave her. Katherine and Liam shared wonderful times but they also went through dark times together.
They grew distant form each other and then they were nothing more than ghost lovers.
Liam is a Mafia lord and he is learning to take over after his father. Liam left Katherine because of his little brother Edward. A disagreement between the two brothers sends Liam to Italy and Edward to California. Liam after being gone from home comes back to tree hill a changed man. He is determined to have Katherine in his life again.
This time they won't just be ghost lovers.
