Annabelle Lee Shorts is a young woman who is in her second year of college and she loves all things dark and things Halloween related. She later finds out she is related to the well known American poet Edgar Allan Poe! This sounds like something amazing until a group of extreme Poe fans find this out and find out she has something no one has saw of Poe's and they want it. The group will do whatever it takes to get this item. Will Annabelle and her family make it out alive? You'll just have to read on to find out! 

Note: All things mentioned in this story are fictional, which means I have come up with everything. I do not wish to offend Poe or his family or friends. I just wanted to write something kind of spooky and interesting to read!

Annabelle Greenwood is your ordinary 16 year old. Straight A student, parents divorced, a few pimples on her face, wears glasses, average height, average feet size, and goes to a public school. One day, March 17, her birthday, the school goes to a lock down. But unluckily for her, she was in the bathroom when that happens. Minutes go by as she sits there. Then she hears footsteps come into the bathroom. The first stall opens, the second stall opens, the third stall opens. Next was hers. Then, hers flew open, revealing a man all in black. "Why hello. What do we have here?" He asked, grabbing her hair and dragging her out of the stall. "NO! LET ME GO!" She cried, clawing at his hand. He brings her out of the bathroom and there are four other guys. They bring her outside out back and in a white van. They threw her in the back and slammed the door shut, leaving her in the darkness. After hours and hours, the doors to the back opened and she fell out. They knocked her out. When she regained consciousness again, she was in the back of the van, but it felt more crowded than before. When her eyes opened, she saw 2 guys standing above her. "Who-who are you? S-stay away from me!" She yelled, crawling away from them. "Hey, hey,hey,hey. It's okay, we aren't going to hurt you." The blonde one said. What will the three of them do to escape? Will they escape? Or will they be there forever? *Warning* Sexual content, mild violence, mild language. Read at your own risk. The horror parts of the story are spread throughout, but the major part is towards chapter 70. Again, read at your own risk.

Annabelle Rose, a twenty one year old who is unable to face her past traumas and inherent mental suffering. Due to this, she turns to narcotics that allow her an escape so she can function as a "proper" member of society and continue to do her mind numbing job at the New York Times where she works as a journalist. She is overly pessimistic, anxious, impulsive, and depressed with recurrent suicidal thoughts due to said trauma and unfulfilling relationships and work life. Annabelle acts as an impression of so many of the youth's struggles with facing their issues while maintaining their status in our hyper-competitive society. This is my first public introduction of Annabelle Rose, the main protagonist of my "Will To" trilogy that is currently in the making.
