I could feel the tension in the air as he moved closer to me with his eyes staring deeply into mine. I felt the difference in his movements as he lessened the distance between my face and his.
It felt like he moved without the restrictions he always had before, he felt different.
It sent shivers along my back and for some reason the room felt hotter. I didn't know what was happening but I didn't exactly hate it.
"Rayven Potter, for some reason I can't get you out of my life," he said as his eyes pierced into mine almost daring me to cave in.
I was confused, what trick was he trying to pull?
Better yet, why was it having this much of an impact on me.
I tried to pull away from him.
But somehow, he grabbed me and this time we were closer than we were before. How? I don't even know.
"Stop messing with me, Elliot," I joked trying to sound unaffected, but damn that was hard.
"Rayven, you're the one messing with me" he said moving even closer his face inches away from mine.
His eyes giving me this muddled look, it almost looked vulnerable.
I could almost feel my heart skip a beat. Almost.
Before I could push him off, he pulled away and started laughing.
The idiot was laughing.
I knew it. Elliot Owens, asshole.
I almost killed him on the spot.
Just as I was about to kick him, I heard a voice from behind.
"Damn Potter"
I turned to see a tall figure. Cocky smirk, brown eyes, the kind that made you want to kis- kick him in the face.
Dammit.
Xander Chamber, another asshole.
"You're fancying Ellio now?" he said his eyes giving me an unsettling look.
Weird.
"Why do you care?" I said trying to sound as annoyed as I possibly could.
He smirked.
"Well, uhm I thought you were more into chicks" he said giving Elliot a wink which just lead him to laugh even louder.

Soon I had his friend laughing with me as the man in front of me glared at both of us. "Don't give me that look. She's the one who started laughing." His friend said, wheezing a little bit and trying to stop laughing. I calmed down a bit, standing up to face them, a smile on my face. "Now, if you're done threatening me," I raise an eyebrow.
