More importantly can his idea of a hero survive the journey?

This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. Although these are somewhat edited they are still rough drafts so please treat them as such.

The Treasure Hunters of the Other World - Arc I by GabrielBinda

What is the Other World? It's a place where demons live. But it's a place where Heroic Warriors do their jobs too. You die and someone replaces you. A Phantom Energy. It will be you without even knowing that it is a substitute for a dead person, it will disappear one day... And no one will remember who you were before... Let's suppose your substitute has a "Treasure" inside... This "Treasure" will grant your substitute a lot of power or a little power... Demons will hunt it for the Treasure, and it will be forced to fight. Ren Kurusu, an ordinary student who was placed in a situation of life and death... he moved quietly into the Territory in the Other World... A place that only Demons and Heroic Warriors can move inside, that means... The real Ren Kurusu is already dead. Akechi Masayoshi, another cone, that was put in a similar situation, that makes him... Another substitute? Akechi Masayoshi also died? Oh my... Yukio Hasegawa... This one does not even know what happened to him, he died a long time ago and never, even, does not remember a Territory in the Other World... To not disappear because they are still Phantom Energies but with Treasures inside... They will need to suck other energies, other forms of life, such as demons... other Phantom Energies... Other Special or even Human Energies...

Evita isn't ready to leave.
