Shadow is the Ultimate Lifeform and has never had to answer to anyone. Now he is in a committed relationship everything is no longer just about him but about his boyfriend Sonic too. If that was not enough his body has begun acting strangely.. Everyone thinks he is simply sick but the Ultimate Lifeform cannot fall prey to the infections of mobian or man, what could possibly be causing it? When G.U.N give him the answer but fails to provide him with a logical explanation Shadow must venture forth to find his only living relative for the answers..
