What happens when all the wicked villains from your favorite childhood fairy-tale stories combine their powers to create a new world? A world where the heroes forget who they are. A world where they live as average teens, while the villains ruin their life. A world where the good doesn't always win. A world where fairy-tales no longer exist.

With a single sentence, everything can change. All it takes is one single word and the villains can win the game. But no game is fun unless the opponent is playing.

Kilan is on the run. From men he knows all too well in a forest he does not know well enough. And running into that tree didn't help. But when he wakes up, the forests are the least of his concerns. Kilan finds he has stumbled upon a castle, hidden deep in the woods, filled with servants and young masters who feel like they might just be more then they seem. And there are the thorns. Thousands upon thousands of thorns that cover the grounds and yet only cover one tower - why? And what about the dreams? The girl in the rose room? She seems so real, almost familiar, and yet he can only see her when he sleeps within the castle walls. She isn't there and he has not the time for a Sleeping Beauty. He has other things to contend himself with, in reality - in the waking world. His most prized possession is gone. A story book that means the world to him is lost within the forests - or worse, someone has their hands on it. Above all, it must be found, he has no time for a girl in dreams and the curse placed upon her - he writes fairy tales, he does not live them. He must find the book and be away from the strange Rose Castle. But someone has already noted his presence and has taken an interest in him. An interest one would not wish for. ~~~~~~ (Please Note: These books link but it is NOT ESSENTIAL that you read them in order - they stand alone as well as link together) The Rose Quartet Reading Order: Beauty and The Beast: http://w.tt/1wczujq Sleeping Beauty The Frog Prince: http://w.tt/1KphNHL Little Red Riding Hood: http://w.tt/1PBaNbs ~~~~ Cover picture by: Selene Regener Check them out: http://selenada.deviantart.com/

❝All men must choose between Two Paths. Good is the path of Honor, Heroism, and Nobility. Evil... well, it's just cooler.❞ ~ Megamind If it's one thing Disney USED TO like to do, it ALWAYS had the heroes win. Here's how it goes down. You have a pretty girl who, who always has an enemy, girl gets caught in the enemy trap, strong person defeats the monster and saves the girl. Happily ever after. The end. Roll credits. But here's the thing, you never see what happened to the villains, you never hear their side of the story, their backstory that caused them to do what they did. Maybe they were banished from the land, that's why they put Sleeping Beauty under a curse that made them sleep for a hundred years. Or maybe their family pressured them into think beauty is everything and they must be the most beautiful in the land to finally get the approval that they did something good, maybe that's why they poisoned Snow White to take her beauty. What if they just wanted to get revenge for Peter Pan taking their most valuable treasure, that meant more to them in the entire world, maybe that's why they had a growing vendetta over Peter Pan. There are many other reasons why villains did what they did, but, did these heroes ever consider that these villains had a family. Like how maybe Gaston might have had a kid who had to grow up with only one parent cause the Beast killed Gaston. Or maybe how Dr. Facilier might have had a daughter, but since he was locked in the shadow realm he never got to have that valuable father-daughter relationship with her. What if Disney is hiding something from us. The story of these kids who had to grow up without a parent or with the burden of being teased because of their lineage. Well, Disney, you may be good at making giant Marvel timelines and making us cry at the end of EVERY Disney Pixar movie. But I'm good at revealing your secrets. Why be good when you can be bad instead? editor: @mya_colondres

"He'd burn the whole world down till he could dig me out of the ashes." I was ready to start a new life. After graduating at the top of my class, I finally had everything. My apartment. My gallery. A perfect boyfriend. Basically, I was living my dream life and I was loving every second of it. But then in came him. And then chaos occurred. All great love stories were supposed to have a happy ending. Mine did too, until he came along. This is the tale of how he found me, how he stole me, and how he lost me. I was a damsel, one who already had her white knight. But every fairy tale had a villain, someone waiting in the wings to rip it all down. A scoundrel who would set the world on fire if that meant he got what he wants. It was me. He wanted me. You know, they say it was bad when you fall for the wrong guy, but the thing was, it was worse when the wrong guy falls for you. WARNING: Contains sensitive topics like cheating.
