Over 400 years ago, Werewolves, Witches and Vampires took over the world leaving humans as the inferior creatures to roam the world. The Supernaturals were now the Government and Royalty - Humans either had to put up with it or get killed trying to change things.
Unlike her parents, Theresa hated the Supernaturals but knew better than to antagonise them because she wanted to stay alive to reach her 19th birthday. Due to this, one day each year, Theresa had no choice but to face the creatures she so desperately hated at the Annual ball up at the castle but while there she over hears a deadly plot to kill humans putting a target on her head, every where she looks had new dangers.
Oh and just to complicate things she finds her mate too... and he just happens to be the Future King of All Supernaturals. Feeling torn in two due to the hate Theresa knows she should be feeling and the love quickly taking over she realises she can't have both so it's time to choose what she wants and she only has 30 days.
