The Mute Girl
That is what Jessica Graye has been called ever since a terribly traumatic event two years ago. She lost almost everything she cared about and can't seem physically to find her ability to speak. She won't be able to. It's gone and it won't be back. Some people say she's using her silence as a sick form of attention, others say she's just an introvert or shy.
A fresh start they said. That's what she needed. Will that be the case or will the bullying follow her there, and throughout the rest of her life of silence?
She loses everything, including her voice.

Love is nothing unless felt. It shows its presence silently, waiting patiently, lurking in the shadows of hearts. All this while, the silence as its faithful companion, holds its hand and bears every sigh, every torment, every skip of a heartbeat, every joy, and every glance with it. They complete each other and yet they don't, for love demands recognition. It requires confirmation and when the love has reached its peak, it pushes the silence down. Breaks it, steps over it, and shouts to the whole world the tale of its existence. And silence, it smiles watching the whole scene. But as it is said, silence in itself is the loudest cry.
