Father and ex Army Ranger Marc Fortis takes life one day at a time... After the loss of his wife the one person who was able to fix him he did all that he could to learn from what she taught him about life, to raise his daughter to be a fighter and a lover, and he did for 18 years. After his daughter got mixed up with a drug den he could only do so much to protect her and when it got personal he wasn't waiting for the law to get involved. After spending the last 3 years in prison for trying to fix something he didn't break, Marc is coming to terms with the fact that he will now have to face a world much different than he left it, again... some will look on him as a hero, others as just another violent man on the streets of Milwaukee... Its been 3 years since her father was put in prison because of something that she blames herself for. Kris finds herself a shell of the woman she once was. Somewhere along the line turning more to the bottom of a bottle and putting on the strong face made more sence than facing a past that she can't change... Now her father is finally getting out, how will she try to hide these things from him will he be expecting her to be the same as she was the day he left, will he have changed... and if that wasn't enough now she's gained the attention of someone that she secretly has wanted the attention of for a long time.
