Dr. Fanning was a pioneer, a trailblazer in the study of Human Evolution whose groundbreaking research changed the world forever. She was the first to identify the source of Evos, humans possessing extraordinary abilities that surpassed anything seen in their "normal" counterparts. Her work was on the cusp of uncovering the source of these powers, a revelation that might have redefined humanity itself. But she never got the chance.

Her dissapearance, sudden and violent, sent shockwaves through a world already on the brink. Tensions between the so-called "monkeys", ordinary humans, and the "freaks," as the Evos were derisively labeled, erupted into open conflict. Riots filled the streets. Divisions deepened. And in the chaos, Dr. Fanning's murder became a spark that ignited an inferno of hate and fear.

Amid the turmoil lies a hidden truth, a web of deception, manipulation, and ambition that intertwines with the emergence of powers unlike anything humanity has ever seen. The future of evolution hangs in the balance. And at the heart of it all is a mystery that could reshape everything: The Legacy of Lazarus.

'No, he didn't'. I was so shocked by the turn of events. Everything was going fine and then suddenly boom, everything turned upside down. I just couldn't believe this. What did he think of himself? 'Leave me alone.' I said firmly but his hold on me was so strong. I was struggling to get out of his bear hold but to no avail. 'Oh!! So, the poor lady thinks that I will leave her alone and just let her go free?' He had that evil laugh and boy, his breath stank. 'Man, you just signed your death warrant and I will do one favour on you.' No one messes with me. 'Ooooh, I am so scared that I almost peed my pants.' Again that idiotic laugh. I counted till 5 and then kicked right in his balls. I turned around and grabbed his hair from roots, jerked them so badly and then gave my hard elbow shot on his chin. Everything happened so fast for one moment he was standing and the other lying on floor wiggling. I charged at him with my cheetah speed, picked up a wooden rod and started hitting him wildly, 'You idiotic stinky breath was trying to steal my backpack. You are so dead.' 'Favour, favour, favour.' He was screaming in pain just after few seconds and was panting hard. I picked my paste from my bag and threw at him, 'Brush your teeth.' I was fuming. I turned around and saw him standing wide-eyed, 'Hi, I am Scarlett.' I smiled showing my 32 teeth. 'I am scared.' His look puzzled me. ---Book 2 in the Godling Trilogy ---- [COMPLETE ORIGINAL NOVEL] Lea Reclin has just saved the world, but the world doesn't know it and never will. Lea lives with the knowledge that gods and monsters are still alive and breathing. As it turns out Greek Mythology, isn't so much of a myth as it is a documentation of history. Lea who only very recently discovered that she's child of one of the long lost deities, happens to be the firstborn of Morpheus, the god of dreams. This makes her a primogentius, or rather: a prime. Godlings with further enhanced strength, speed, and stamina, Primes are as rare as they are powerful. For this reason, Lea was sent to save the world from a threat rising in the west. She succeeded, but at a cost. And now, it appears that the chaos isn't over. Before Lea gets the chance to settle back into a normal life she's jarred back into the world of the godlings. Then, after having strange monsters sicked on her, she flees back to the home of the gods only find that those monsters are much more of threat to her than any she'd faced before. The monsters, taking on traits of multiple mythological beasts, are the result of someone's experiment. Someone is taking monsters, playing with their DNA, and creating something that shouldn't exist: they're creating hybrids. -------------------------------------------------- Rated PG-13 for Intense Action Violence, Fantasy violence, Mild Language, and Mature humor ((This is an original work, not a fanfiction. It was heavily inspired by Percy Jackson and involves greek mythology in modern day. however this book will contain no copyrighted material.))

{COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. And when we arrive, we will arrive violently. ___________________________________________ Started: 10.06.15 Finished: 3.17.16

I see how people die. It only happens the first time I touch someone. A handshake. My arm brushing yours on the subway. All of it. So much noise, every day and all the time. Drives a girl crazy after a while. If there's no skin contact, my head belongs to me for a few more seconds each day. I've seen every scenario. Except for one. I've never played an active role in a death. That is, until now. Copyright © epicmishamigo 2019 July 25th 2019- October 8th 2019
