"No" I said. "What did you say?" He replied. "I said no!" I pushed him away making him stagger back. I glared at him as a sequence of emotions ran past his face. Anger, confusion, betrayal, hurt, and most of all amusement? "You can't just play me around like im somekind of doll. And I won't let myself fall for anything you do anymore! Im tired of pretending like I'm not myself, I'm tired of crying myself to sleep every night , I'm tired of these stupid games, and most of all I'm tired of you! Jace, we're done!" ------------ Autumn Skyler Johnson was your average normal girl. She was always smiling, she was free to do whatever she wanted to, and most of all she had someone to love. That was until she found out the her supposed boyfriend Jace Saunders was actually playing a little game on her. Him and his friends decided that if he could convince Autumn that he loved her then he would win the bet and be the official leader of the jocks, and if he didn't then Mason Green, his enemy, would get the spot. Mason Green is your normal bad boy. Striking looks with his black hair and sea green eyes that could make you swoon if he glanced at you for even just a second. He is known for his looks and his popularity. He has practically dated every good-looking girl in his school. Although there had always been that girl, the girl who he would never have thought to like, a girl that's sporty, nerdy, and weird altogether, a girl named Autumn. ----------- Whew. Ok. Imma stop you there and tell you that this story is going to have unsuspected twists and turns but hey, that what makes a story interesting right? Any way I hope you like the book and you can be super duper sure that I'll be updating this book at least once a week, more than once if there is a special occasion in the week.ll All the love, ItsPhoebsss

Avery wrapped an arm around my waist to catch me before I could get out the door. He pushed me up against the door, trapping me between his body and the door. "What's wrong?" I asked innocently. His face hovered over mine, much closer than I was used to. His gaze didn't leave mine as he spoke. "It would have been different if I had told him from the start. You wanted me to lie for you. You started this. If we tell him what really happened, he would be pissed at me for lying to him." "Stormie, you got a phone call!" Mason yelled up the stairs. The closeness between Avery and me started to make my legs feel like Jell-O, and I couldn't make sense of it. Our breathing became heavier. His eyes trapped mine. "Answer him," Avery murmured. "Uh," I stammered. I cleared my throat. "Be down in a minute!" My voice came out higher than usual. My gaze still couldn't escape Avery's. My heart raced wildly as his chest rose and fell against mine. Avery's gaze flickered to my lips. What's happening? My gaze fell to his mouth, which was moving closer to mine. Stormie West is brave, kind, and young. She has a lot to learn about love, trust, lust, and heartbreak. Stormie's older brother, Mason, is brave, cocky, and a bit of an asshole. He's the wide receiver for the high school football team. Avery Prince is Mason's best friend. Avery has it all, popularity, star quarterback, and girls. What more could he want, right? #1 in Quarterback 11/10/2020 #1 in action-adventure 11/15/2020
