Unfavorable Seas

When her mom is driven mad by the loss of her father at sea, Anne Marie Thatch gets dragged on a voyage to the Bermuda Triangle. It's rough weather, but there are worse things to fear in those seas. She gets lost in a strange world of pirates where she is kidnapped and trained as the apprentice of Captain Hook.

Forced to adopt a new name, she becomes Edward Blackwood who has a promising career. Can she learn to be a pirate and keep her old self alive, or must she lose everything she once stood for? Can the man who destroyed her life really control her fiery spirit?

Years later, Hook sends her to find the pieces of an ancient weapon that can manipulate life and death. To find them she has to fight off some of the biggest names in pirating: Calico Jack, the Barbarossa Cousins (son of the famous Barbarossa Brothers), Captain Kidd, a crew of children of famous pirates led by the daughter of the most powerful female pirate in history, Madame Ching, and Blackbeard.

What she uncovers could be more valued than any weapon. Secrets will be discovered. Lives will be saved and lost. Allies may be found amongst enemies.
