I'm not a poet...I have no idea how to write free verse poetry.
However, I am a teenage girl who is stupidly in love right now and what I do know how to do is feel. I'm just not sure how exactly to deal with these feelings. So, I write.
This is more of a personal journal full of weird poetry than anything--but by all means, read. Come along on this emotional journey of navigating high school and relationships. And failing at both.

Loving Maya
"You expect me to forget everything?" His voice comes out as a whisper. "To act like it doesn't hurt me to see you with him or that I'm still not crazy in love with you?" "Mason." Everlee Bridge, a scared, lonely, heartbroken girl, is in a mess she never asked for. Seven years in a place she never wanted to be in broke her into pieces she couldn't pick up. Life has been hard for her since her parents gave her away to a gang. Her unwillingness cost her a lot in the past. So she accepted her defeat and decided to just keep going with everything until it reaches an end. Well, things don't go as planned when she moves to a completely different town with a bunch of other gang members. She still wants to stay hidden and away from everyone. But that seems impossible when she bumps into Asher Kellins and his absolutely crazy friends in her new school. Her life takes a different turn, but for the first time she doesn't want to fight it. But the thing is, her past is still her present and that is bound to suck her in at some point. Endings Are New Beginnings (Book 1) (Completed)
Bambi Raye's life was normal. Well, as normal as any teenage girl's life can be, when they're going through puberty. Until one fateful night when she was 15, which caused her life to change forever. The next 3 years of her life were hell. All the friends she thought would stick by her side, abandoned her. She was either bullied or ignored at school, and her home life was slowly falling apart. And then, reprieve. Her mother was finally able to find the funds to move them. Bambi would have been happy with anywhere, but was surprised and elated to find out that her mother was moving them all the way out to LA. The land of dreams. Things could only get better there right? There she meets two crazy friends, who teach her what true friendship is, and a group of eight boys who turn her whole world upside down. But it's not long before she has to fend off unwanted attention, and her friends find out what happened that night 3 years ago. Her old life seems to be repeating itself. How will her new friends cope with finding out the secrets Bambi is hiding? Can her new friends show Bambi that that part of her life has ended, and that endings mean new beginnings? Will she be able forget everything that happened in the past, closing that book, and come to realise that she's writing a whole new story? Even if it has a few bumps along the way. After Senior Year.
June 30th, 2014. My life has always been a mess. From bullies constantly pushing me to the ground to my family pulling me in so many directions I begin to fall apart. This isn't just about all the terrible things I've dealt with, but also the amazing times I've had. Late nights out with my friends and great laughs reading my favorite books past sunrise. "Fuck my life.." I grunted. I can't believe my last words were going to be useless. I half expected it to be "tell mom I love her" or some sappy shit like that. But turns out my last words we're utterly useless. How I got here? Trust me I don't know, I was sipping the liquid from my red cup the first second and the next thing I know is I'm running towards him. ••• Well, Juliet Evans have always hated the football team due to the trauma they inflicted on her brother- they outed him from his closet, if you know what I mean. Ever since that day they have been harassing him physically and emotionally. As his twin, she took it upon herself to protect him- if she had to swing a fist, you bet your asses she would! Here enter Luke Rivers, he was a part of the "No Brainy Bunch" as Juliet liked to call the Football team. Sure he stayed in the sidelines and watched his friends do horrible things- that's what Juliet hates the most, the bystanders who never bat an eyelash when it comes to abuse. I Fell in Love with a Bad Boy
CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy.
