This is based on a Soulmate au that I read about having a timer on your wrist that counts down to the second that you meet your soulmate.
This is my take on the concept.

Bonded: A Min Yoongi x OC Soulmate AU
Min Yoongi never wanted a soulmate. As far as he was concerned, he only had time in his life for his music and his members. He didn't like the idea of depending on another person for survival and he knew all too well how much of a pain that could be after watching Jungkook's struggle with his soulmate. A soulmate would only be a nuisance at this point in his life. Crystal never wanted a soulmate either. Being a 7th year law student and intern at one of the most prestigious firms in Seoul, she barely had time for anything else. She was a workaholic to the core that only had time for school, work, and family. A soulmate would only complicate things. Too bad fate didn't care what they wanted. In this universe, about fifty percent of people have soulmates. The bond is activated by touch, which causes a bruise to form. From then on, you depend on one another for energy to live. Tick Tock (Destiel Soulmate AU)
In the future, the Department of Soulmates and Timers gives everyone a timer on their right hand counting down to when that specific person will meet their soulmate. This solves all romantical problems, divorces, fights, and breakups. The world is a happier place. Up until Castiel Milton meets his soulmate. This is a story about love, drama, and finding the best in a person you never thought you would. WARNINGS: This piece of work deals heavily with rape, its effects physically, mentally, and emotionally on its victim(s), and the aftermath of it. Although it does not have a literally have a full out rape scene, it has scenes /right/ before and after, so while technically it doesn't, you could say that it does. It also deals with alcoholism and alcohol abuse, along with drug use, marijuana to be exact, and psychological addiction to it.Complete

my second chance (Haikyuu au)
This is a haikyuu soulmate au. The way the soulmates work is they will get a colour stripe on their dominant wrist, the colour will be their soulmates favourite colour and will be scented like their soulmate. Their soulmate's initials will be engraved in with the stripe. if the initials are white then the soulmate is platonic and if the initials are black then the soulmate is romantic however this can change but that is very rare. The stripe appears at birth. It is possible for someone to not get a stripe but some people can get a delayed soulmate and develop their stripe later but not all. If the soulmate is romantic, then the soulmate will stay true to the persons sexuality. If the soulmate gets hurt the person will be able to sense where (if its physical pain). Mental pain works slightly differently so for example, their soulmate is going through grief, they can feel ever so slightly what the soulmate is feeling so sometimes people can be found suddenly tearing up, even in the happiest of moments, of sadness. If the soulmate is uncomfortable or has been harassed, the person will get visions of it almost like looking back on a memory. when soulmates kiss their stripes will glow slightly.Complete
