One wouldn't expect theater, computer science, and coffee to go together, but when you mix the three of them, they produce some of the greatest ideas and stories the world has yet to experience.

Carmen Grenada is a nerdy, introverted computer science student with a passion for all forms of storytelling, ranging from books to video games to Broadway shows. After being forced to transfer schools after her sophomore year of college, Carmen struggles to adjust to life at a new university, settling instead for indulging in her passions and debugging computer code.
One night, thanks to a thunderstorm knocking out the electricity in her dorm, she scurries a few blocks away to a nearby coffee shop, anxious to get her homework done in time. There she meets a barista named Nick, the theater student with a painfully optimistic outlook on life. Nick takes a liking to Carmen almost immediately, though Carmen doesn't understand why. Although irked by his eccentric behaviors, Carmen can't help but to keep visiting her new favorite coffee shop for a double dose of his personality.
