The Road to Knowing
We get saved and set out on a wonderful road to know our Savior and Creator. Many are there to tell us just what to do. Few are there to tell us how to do it. The road that seemed smooth and wonderful begins to turn rocky and muddy. We bog down, we grow discouraged. The ones who told us what to do disappear and we are left by ourselves wondering what happened to this thing called Christianity that seemed to promise so much. I have been there, been stuck there, wept there, and quit there. When I finally collapsed on that muddy road with no one to help I turned my eyes to the cross and found my Lord and God were there all the time. I pray that the contents of this book will encourage you to seek and to know your Creator and Saviour in a more personal way.Complete

Cold Water
[BWWM] I was only twelve years old when the world turned cold. The day my mom died in that car accident, I felt like someone had dumped a bucket of ice water over my heart. My dad, who had always been my hero, suddenly became a stranger, filled with rage and blame. He couldn't see that I was hurting, too; he only saw me as a reminder of his loss. The accusations cut deep. He said it was my fault for being there, for not doing something to save her. For being the reason she was in the car in the first place. Stuck In A Shuttle
There's probably a ton of reasons why you are feeling the way you are feeling at this very moment. Sometimes emotions just sneak up on us without our realization and we drown our pains or sorrows by adapting to a certain pattern of living. We develop coping mechanisms per se. What if there was a reason why you experienced what you experienced? Your pain could be the very thing that microphones your way to the person you are meant to become. It could be a highway through which people could walk on in order to find the hope they are looking for. Why you? Why does it have to be you? Why not anybody else? Better yet! Why not you? Have you ever asked yourself that question? Pretty silly huh? Really though, why shouldn't you be in that position right now? Why should it be anyone else? What if your situation could be the answer you were desperately looking for? You can either look at your pain in your own perspective or you could tilt the angle a bit and change the focus. What if you were looking at it all wrong and asking the wrong questions?Complete
