Fate is a funny thing. It can pull together people who otherwise would never have gotten to know each other- and can rip it away just as easy.
Dean Winchester wasn't expecting it- the sudden midnight kiss stolen from him as the clock wound down on New Years, but he sure wasn't complaining. But, just before he can discover his mystery midnight kiss, the culprit slips back into the night without a trace- well, anything other than a nickname and a pair of beautiful, bright blue eyes.
Now, Cas, on the other hand, really wasn't expecting the man who he kissed on a whim to show up at the diner where he worked. He only hopes that Dean will never find out it was him.

Cas has a successful blog and he loves all of his readers. They're the reason he has done so well all these years, but after a sudden and painful breakup with his fiance, a video starts popping up all over every social media platform of his ex proposing to the man he left Cas for. The Winchester boys had lived next door to Novaks for as long as anyone in the sleepy little town could remember. Cas and Dean were always best friends, joined at the hip was an understatement.
