One day after Izuku gets home, covered in bruises from his childhood bully/friend, he comes home to see his mom being beaten and raped mercilessly by a lowly thug. Seeing his mom like this awakens his quirk. But where were the heroes? Where was All Might? No where to be seen, not trying to help his mom in the slightest. What's so good about heroes?
