East Falls, North Falls, and Dark Falls. They're all connected by land, partitioned only by a moderately wide river with a waterfall at one end, but the differences between these towns are very apparent. No one expected the smallest, quietest town to open the biggest, hardest, and most terrifying police investigation that any of the towns had ever seen. But when 17 year old Scott Teller escapes from the Dark Falls Mental Asylum, he not only puts Dark Falls in danger, but the other towns too. There are only four questions that need to be answered to put an end to this investigation: Where? When? How? and Why? Yes, these may seem like very simple questions, but the answers could change everything... *This book may have themes, scenes, and topics that may be disturbing/frightening to readers that are immature. Ever have the feeling that something is not quite right, but you just can't put your finger on it? I do, I can hear the voice that tries desperately to influence my movements and tries to destroy any shred of sanity I can keep my hands on. My life always was weird from the vague memories I can recall from my childhood, but there is always something that makes me stop trying to remember. I've learned the hard way how cruel and despicable people can be. Life is complicated enough, but then people just always have to make it that much harder. ----------- Tori didn't have an easy start to life. She knew very little other than isolation and few emotions she chooses to acknowledge if she doesn't have to. Her life was turned upside down at the young age of twelve, throwing her into a tailspin unlike she had ever experienced. Not only was the only home she ever knew torn away, but she found herself thrust into a human riddled world she never knew existed. At first, she struggled with trying to accept her new life, struggled to find ways to cope, but with the help of a few friends, she found herself thriving in her new environment until her past caught up with her. --------- Sorry guys! I really suck at book descriptions, please give it a read and let me know what you think!
