Chyanne Raymond is the adopted daughter of the Gilbert's, meaning she is the older sister of Jeremy and Elena Gilbert, daughter of Miranda and Greyson Gilbert. She was six when she met the most dangerous man in the world, Drake. He is older than what the Bible states how old Lilith is.

Drake kept in touch with Chyanne even when she was adopted. He knew that she was his destined mate and no one was going to get in the way of it, not even her Vampire hating parents. But what they don't know is that he isn't just a vampire but a hybrid of a vampire, werewolf and witch. They allowed him around Chyanne and Jeremy because wherever Chyanne went, Jeremy followed. Jeremy and Chyanne learned about the supernatural at a young age thanks to Drake.
