The story centers around "Alone". She might be deaf but she can hear people's thoughts. She is looked up in a room so that in time, she can be able to control her own telepathy. After sixteen years of solitude, the people who owned the place where she was look up, decided to kill her instead of setting her free. Some people knew of this and devised a plan for " Alone " to escape that place hoping for her to live the life of a normal teenage girl.
