"You really should take a picture. It lasts longer." So I did exactly that. I got my phone out and took a picture of the smirking stranger. His smirk faltered and he laughed at my actions. "What? You said to take a picture!" I took a look at the photo and internally swooned at how there could be so much perfection in one picture. "It was a joke!" The stranger chuckled after arguing. "I told you that I had a weakness for good-looking strangers." Venus has a lot of secrets. Secrets about herself, her past, her present, her future, and even secrets which she didn't know she was keeping. She was able to live peacefully, being able to balance being a celebrity and a student. Little did she know that when she came across a handsome stranger at 2:00 am in the morning at a children's park, her peace will be invaded by chaos. A beautiful kind of chaos, to be exact.

In a world of neon lights, pounding bass, and nights that blur into mornings, she swears she's untouchable. Love is a curse she's learned to dodge, a poison she refuses to taste. Her life is simple: survive the chaos, drown the silence, and never let anyone close enough to matter. Then he appears-danger wrapped in a smirk, a disaster in human form. Everyone warns her about him, but fate has a twisted sense of humor. What starts as a game-one she thinks she controls-spirals into something deeper, darker, and far more dangerous. He won't leave her alone. She won't back down. And somewhere between the teasing, the tension, and the night after night of unresolved electricity, she starts to fall. But falling for him has a price. Because he isn't searching for love. He's searching for a cure-for someone to numb the chaos he carries like a second skin. And she refuses to become anyone's temporary fix. This is a story of two broken flames drawn to each other in the dark-burning bright, burning fast, burning wrong. A love they never wanted. A disaster they never saw coming. ----- [MUST READ!!: The photos I used on the book cover are not mine, and I just borrowed them.
