"From June 30 1940, during the Second World War, the Guernsey and Jersey islands were occupied by German troops. Before the occupation, 80% of Guernsey children had been evacuated to England to live with relatives or strangers during the war. Some children were never reunited with their families."

Rosie, the redhead girl, could melt you with her beauty and also her sad eyes. Only God knows how much her mom, Elizabeth, prayed for her child to find a good family over the channel, a family to treat her like any other human deserves.

Rosie's journey just began. She'll have to fit in her new place, new way of living and most important, try to find the people she could trust far away from her home.

Enjoy!
