Just some scarian stuff I don't ship the real life people just the characters I have dyslexia so sorry for the spelling and punctuation and typos and all the other stuff :( I will write fluff and angst but I'm aroace so no smut as I feel uncomfortable writing it. I put trigger warnings at the start of chapters. I will also be writing a small amount of flower husbands/ flower ranchers possibly but most of this is going to be scarian :3 If I write anything that is against someone's boundaries then please inform me as I did not do it on purpose I promise. Futuristic World (Furry X Human)
It was a normal day for Y/N.. until you agree to help run a test that scientist are trying to do. They tell you that it's a new teleporting device. If it is successful, then this will change how people travel forever. You decide to be the first person to use it... However, it went horribly wrong. You pass out and wake up in a large neon city filled with strange humanoid creatures that appear to be animals... As if that wasn't bad enough.. You have to figure out where you are, and how to get back home.. but that won't be easy when people find out a new species just arrived in the city. I don't own any of the art used in the story. (edit) I forgot to add that this started out as a confessional journal about becoming clean after a 10 year + addiction to OTC cold meds, but that was not my style of writing, I liked the material so I wanted to expand it into a novel length work featuring the journal elements. To say this work is a roller coaster would put it lightly. Although there are elements of time travel I would consider my sudden transitions reality travel. I use actual experience and dreams as a foundation, then toss in some fourth wall breaking narratives (meta-fiction), with a sprinkling of facts and quotations from songs and factual articles. It tends to be written similarly to an essay sans the boring. I have been influenced strongly by Vonnegut and W. S. Burroughs , and a wide variety of album rock, and that bleeds through. The tags dystopian and dark humor describe the whole piece best but there is a lot of genre jumping. I've done a good deal of research, not just for factual things but for the type of writing I do. Although not technically fan fiction, there is a nod to Final Fantasy games. The cover photo is a shared copyright, Brian Barbour took the photo, I added treatments.Complete
