Mystery
" You know, when you first left, I thought the worse. I thought you had died, Mica." I said rather calmly, surprising the boy sitting across from me. But the surprise quickly faded away from his features. All that came from him after the shock was a simple," You thought wrong." Now it was my turn to be surprised. I looked at him- Long blonde hair, piercing blue eyes, and the jacket he wore the day he went missing, or rather more, left - and realizations came to me. I was right. The mica I knew did die that day. What was left of him sat in the shell of what once was the boy in front of me. ------------------------------------- Cade and Mica, two best friends that have been inseparable since third grade, have been through everything together. Vacations, birthdays, deaths, really anything that involves human beings. When Mica goes missing, however, their small town of Crooksburrow goes into almost a frenzy. Will the towns hysteria ever calm, or would mica ever be found. No one really knows, not eve Cade. Cover credit to @THEBAE404

The Corelli and Carmichael families have been neighbors for years. The men were friends, so it only made sense for their children to be just as close. But just how close is TOO close? *** Lucas and Michaela were inseperable. So much so that they had their own standing orders at some places. They shared secrets and mischief and they loved that they could depend on one another. Lucas has held a candle for Michaela for years. She liked him too, but she moved on from her schoolgirl crush once he started dating and she realized he would never see her the same. When Lucas comes home again the Summer of her senior year of high school, things suddenly start to change between them. It makes their lives go from 0 to 100 in a heartbeat and neither of them expected it to happen. Excerpts from the story: * We've always been a good team. Hell, the best when we teamed up against others. If we can't keep an eye on him, no one can... * "So, what's the problem then?" I sit back in triumph, grinning. My hands are on my thighs but my eyes stay on my girl. "Come on," I start, stretching the two words tauntingly. Elijah groans. Michaela's eyes narrow as if telling me not to, but I was going to anyway, no matter how cute her scowl is. "Live a little."
