Devan Daniel is a retired agent from The Regulation and Assessment Ward aka RAW who lives in a small town, Kannur in Kerala, India. He loves his grandchildren and organic farming. He calls his past 'ghost era'. An indecent man from his ghost era once gives him a grim visit. A woman was killed and that gives Devan only two choices: either kill the murderer or be killed himself. Equipped with the skills that he imbibed from his field of work he kills the stranger. The woman who was killed was his wife who, in his own words, he never loved much. Devan realizes that he was being hunted down by someone sitting on top of the command chain of bureaucracy. He has no love for life, but he doesn't want to die, not until he made sure his grandson is in safe hands.
