They each traveled alone to achieve their goals. Mondo trains with Water-Types and travels to see every Pokémon Contest after becoming famous for his performances. Daichi trains with Electric-Types and travels to earn gym badges but suddenly studies to become a breeder. And Takeru trains under his brothers's teachings and aims to become stronger.
