She is left on the isle with her mother and all the rest to grow up until her mother is missing. The beast then sends fairy godmother to the Isle of the Lost to scout out her lair for clues where they find Mal close to death

Ben knows you are going to greet them but he don't know why so hes told everyone in the greeting party to not mention your the princess or that you're from Auradon per your request. Even Maleficent don't know that you're a princess let alone Belles Daughter. Only uma knows you're the princess no one else in her gang. Most fairytales start with Once upon a time... and well, this one too, although this might not seem like your typical fairytale... So, once upon a time there lived a young girl in a big kingdom. Well, she didn't actually live in the kingdom, but on an island by the kingdom. This island was more like a prison where all people were banned who were a threat to the kingdom. This girl isn't one of them, but she's the daughter of one of those people. She grew up imprisoned on that island with her friends, Jay, Caros and Evie and honestly, they didn't think it was too bad. But that could also be because they didn't know any better. They'd watch tv and see Auradon, the place where princes and princesses grew up, where heroes were living their best lives, where kids were happily playing in the sun, where people had proper education and had jobs that actually mattered. But for as far as Mal and her friends cared, life on the Isle was good enough for them and they were just going with it, until one day everything changed. They got invited to Auradon by soon to be king Benjamin. It was difficult to change into that lifestyle, but the four vk's hadn't even really come to Auradon to do that. They had been commissioned by their parents to find Fairy Godmother's wand and free the Isle of the Lost, so they could take over the kingdom. They had a plan to steal that wand during the coronation of prince Ben, but during the time in between arriving in Auradon and the coronation, Mal found herself falling in love with the prince. Not only did she fall in love with him, the four vk's fell in love with the kingdom and realized that living there wasn't such a bad idea. Maleficent on the other hand didn't let go that easily and tried to fight them, but together they defeated her and got her turned into a tiny green lizard. And so it all ended well, you'd say. But this was not the end of the story, no, there's much more to come...

Descendants 2 takes place 1 year later from the first one. Everyone on the Isle Of The Lost is trying to find a way to get off the island since the barrier is down. The Evil Queen, Cruella De Vil, and Jafar recruit four evil girls on the island (in their opinion they were more evil than Mal, Jay, Evie and Carlos.). The daughters of The Queen of Hearts, Ursula, Captain Hook, and The Snow Queen. They are the new group of kids chosen to start school at Auradon Prep. The Evil Queen wants them to finish what Mal, Jay, Evie, and Carlos didn't. To get the Fairy Godmothers wand, to release Maleficent, and get the villains off the island. Will this new group of evil turn good? Will they succeed? Or will they fail? Find out in this Descendants 2 Fan Fiction (Note-PLEASE DON'T COPY!!)

And he wasn't wrong about that. It came with some struggles, but they found their place in Auradon too. After his coronation he decided that more kids had to come over, as the first four proved that they could live just like other Auradoniens in the kingdom, amongst the other citizens. He didn't really know them well personally, but only heard good stories about them and that was proof enough for him. It sounds like this was a happily ever after, but our story is only beginning now... *I do not own any of these characters*
