[Book 1 of the Storm Series]
It's the End of days, or so says the name of the killing game.
I'm Alexis Monroe and I am a participant in The End of Days killing game. This game changed my life forever, it has taken away my freedom, my moral compass and any semblance of a normal life.
The goal of this game is survive or die by the hands of another. Anyone could be a participant, anyone could kill me, stab me in the back but I will not let them.
I must survive!
It's kill or be killed,
And I want to live.

( discontinued to be rewritten ) Huntingtown was panicking; no one knew where the sirens were coming from. There was no electricity, and there was no way for the storm Sirens to be sounding, yet they were. The entire Town was awake; everyone had a weapon. They had grabbed guns, knives, swords, and bats if they could be wielded and used for self-defense; Renee aimed her rifle at the trees, looking desperately for an explanation. Why would a siren sound? They only sounded when they were in Danger, so where was the Danger? When the predators revealed themselves, that was where the siren noise was coming from. Renee could feel her heart jump into her throat. Her face went pale; they were here. They had found the Town. Terror and panic soon swept Huntingtown; everyone knew what those monsters could do. After all, they did conquer the planet and impose the "choosing." Huntingtown was created hoping that its isolation in a cold climate would keep the Predators away, but it didn't. A voice came over those speakers. A male voice Gruff and laced with a growl. It was almost as if whoever was speaking was annoyed and angry. "Although I have enjoyed seeing your little Town outmaneuver many hunters. I am afraid this is where your little games end. However, I will give you a chance to keep your freedom. A hunt. You will be red by your best hunter, Renee Madison." Renee felt her blood go cold as she stared wide-eyed at the ship. She was unknowingly dropping her gun at the news. " she will be your leader; she will be my prize. You have a time advantage. Go!" The ship took off, looking for a place to land, all while the news sank into the Town's residence. Renee had known she had fucked up when she fired at one of those predators and hit him. She had proven herself worthy of the hunt. Now she has to face the consequences, not only her but her entire Town had to. Renee had to win this hunt; the fate of her Town depended on it.Terminé

Her life wasn't perfect but it was to her..that is until a fatal outbreak spreads through her home town in Dallas ,Texas causing her life as she knew it to disapper leaving her having to fight for not only her survival but also her brothers.When she meets survivers along the way she becomes instantly drawn to a hansom and charming boy named Aaron,but she knows she cant get to attached in a world like this with the dead among them anyone can die at any minute, But she plans on fighting till the end,for her's and her brothers sake.Terminé

I never bothered to aim down my sights, I was blinded by the cascading snow. I just wanted to pluck a couple leaves, eat some Reese's pieces, and go home. Leave the forest behind and pretend none of this is happening. But that's not how it ends at all. Itends with us killing each other behind each other's backs because we are so paranoid about this twisted virus. It ends with our species dying off. But it's not over yet. I won't let it be over yet. I have to find Cole and I's parents. I need to get back to Abigail. I need to make sure the others don't die, I couldn't let that happen. So I shot down the second hunter. And the third one.Terminé

She was doing great, she is quick to love and her baked goods always brought her costumers back. One late night, she just locked the bakery and headed home when she heard a noise in the back alley. Worried, that someone needs help, she walked into it, only to witness a murder. But it was not just a murder, it was a mafia murder. Young new mafia boss, Luciano Moretti, murdered a man that own him money. Alexis couldn't believe her eyes and it was just her luck, that the big bad mafia man saw her and took her with him. WARNING: This has been written by a much younger self in about a month for Camp Nanowrimo, so it is still full of grammar errors and awkward sentences. I haven't gotten around to actually editing it and i probably never will... so ignore the "reviewed and edited" chapters, because they do not really exist.
