[Book 1 of the Storm Series]

It's the End of days, or so says the name of the killing game.

I'm Alexis Monroe and I am a participant in The End of Days killing game. This game changed my life forever, it has taken away my freedom, my moral compass and any semblance of a normal life.

The goal of this game is survive or die by the hands of another. Anyone could be a participant, anyone could kill me, stab me in the back but I will not let them.

I must survive!
It's kill or be killed,
And I want to live.

She was with him for only a few hours, little did she know those few hours were going to change her entire life. ----------- "Where is he!" he yelled. The baby started to cry. When the man noticed I was holding the baby he ran up to me and tried to take the little boy. The little boy wouldn't let go. He was attached to my shirt. When the man tried to take him again. The little boy only started to cry again. "What did you do to him!" He asked rudely. I was taken aback, who does he think he is? He's the one who was irresponsible enough to leave a child here, with god knows who. He's lucky I was nice enough to take care of him for the time I did. ------------------------- Started February 11, 2021, finished February 20, 2021 Warning- strong language, smut, talk about mafias and gangs and MAJOR grammar mistakes. Alexis Young is a simple and easy going woman. She is fresh out of college and she just opened a small bakery. She was doing great, she is quick to love and her baked goods always brought her costumers back. One late night, she just locked the bakery and headed home when she heard a noise in the back alley. Worried, that someone needs help, she walked into it, only to witness a murder. But it was not just a murder, it was a mafia murder. Young new mafia boss, Luciano Moretti, murdered a man that own him money. Alexis couldn't believe her eyes and it was just her luck, that the big bad mafia man saw her and took her with him. WARNING: This has been written by a much younger self in about a month for Camp Nanowrimo, so it is still full of grammar errors and awkward sentences. I haven't gotten around to actually editing it and i probably never will... so ignore the "reviewed and edited" chapters, because they do not really exist. They all have mistakes, so there is really no need for you to warn me about them. I hope you enjoy the story anyway.

I never bothered to aim down my sights, I was blinded by the cascading snow. I just wanted to pluck a couple leaves, eat some Reese's pieces, and go home. Leave the forest behind and pretend none of this is happening. But that's not how it ends at all. Itends with us killing each other behind each other's backs because we are so paranoid about this twisted virus. It ends with our species dying off. But it's not over yet. I won't let it be over yet. I have to find Cole and I's parents. I need to get back to Abigail. I need to make sure the others don't die, I couldn't let that happen. So I shot down the second hunter. And the third one.
