"Glass shattered, the pavement shook, screams pierced the dust filled air. And all I could think was, he found me."

In the distant future after the world wars decimated the earth's population, life in one corner of the world has broken into three sectors. The remaining rich and powerful live in Urbanus, the sole sector with cities and infrastructure still in tact. On the opposite side of the continent, Amaranthus is home to a remote grouping of peaceful settlements. And in between the two, Abditory; the most dangerous sector of all.

All out battles rage, and Bexley Brooks is thrust out of her hiding place as an old ally, and an old enemy, come crashing back into her life.

With loved ones separated and old wounds ripped opened, can Bexley survive a nearly impossible journey through a war zone in order to protect everything she holds dear? Or will a legendary weapon be unleashed upon the world once more?

"What are you?" He asks me, breaking the silence. I am quite shocked by this question. Mostly because I don't even know how to answer it. "Werewolf. I think... And you are a vampire," I state. He nods. "You don't smell like a werewolf." He lifts his hand to my neck, moving my hair aside, and looks at the bite mark on my shoulder. "And you don't taste like one." I breathe superficially, scared of what he might do next. "I would be lying if I said I didn't want to taste you again." He says, leaving his mouth slightly open. I just stare at him with wide scared eyes. He looks up from my wound and wink at me, causing him to smile a bit and show a fang. I blink a couple of times and swallow, trying to water my throat. He sees me struggling. "Need some extra saliva?" He almost laughs at me... Athena, an omega of the Blood Moon Pack, has her entire life ripped into pieces when she attacks the eldest son of the Alpha in an attempt to save her sister. Bitterness starts to flow through her, as she embarks on a journey to find other rogues like her. Watching Anna, she was actually down stairs sipping water quietly. I couldn't help but stare at her. Her usually midnight drink. "Thirsty." "Oh, uncle you startled me." She had backed away from me as I tried to touch her. I had been needing her touch more and more. "Why are you so afraid of me?" "What are you talking about?" She nervously giggled as she crept backwards. "I have notice a few things and well you cower at my touch. Tell me Anna, do I frightened you?" Have I in someway? I wondered. "No, uncle," she stepped closer to me pressing her palm on my chest proving that she is not the least bit frightened. "You don't scare me one bit." Her lips were smiling but her eyes had told me a different story. "The prove it." I was now leaning as she had licked her own lips. Fuck I want to taste those lips. "How." Her breath sent me shivers down my core. Further leaning in, I pulled her closer, my hand now firmly on her back as my lips made contact with hers. She hesitated at first, I could feel she was withdrawn but that didn't stop me from taking what I wanted. Kissing her made me forget. I know I shouldn't but I wanted to forget what I had lost. Is it wrong of me to think like that? But this kiss felt so right. Why? She felt perfect beneath me. At that moment I wanted more, I wanted everything she would give me. I wanted her. "What the fuck is going on here." The lights instantly turned on revealing a very pissed of Megan. "Megan I can explain." "How, when I just witness you kissing the one who had killed our child." ***** Do you believe in soul mate because we are destined to be with that one person that makes us whole....
