This is a monologue (of what I think/V thinks) from V for Vendetta. I am using storylines from both the movie and novel/comic.

Daminette/ Marin Fanfiction: My Story

"Have I ever told you the story of The Phoenix Girl?" My Grandfather asked. "No, you have not," I said. My Grandfather was like any other old man, but his mind was far from ordinary. All grandfathers are alike, each one tells you stories about wars or the good old days. But not my Grandfather. He was a storyteller, but his stories were always different. He would just come up with the stories, and they would be so enrapturing to me. It hooked me from the beginning until the moment I had to leave. But then one day, he told me a story that would change everything for me and my Father. This story called the Phoenix Girl. It's a story of a girl who goes through hardships and struggles in her everyday life. They punish her for things she has no control over, but then she faces it all. She is reborn from the ashes of the flames that had consumed her. She is stronger. But what if this isn't just some story that my grandpa came up with? What if something connected her to my family? Prologue How do you fix something that is beyond repair? How do you stop your heart from breaking each time you try to fix the wrong? How do you redeem someone when you know the person is beyond redemption? SHE was the happiest soul to step on this earth. HE was worse than satan himself. She was an angel to the world but only a few knew she was a devil in disguise too. He had a heart of black, they thought, but only a few knew that the same heart was once golden. She was adamant on making the wrong right. He was adamant on making it worse. But In the journey of making his wrongs right, In bringing him out of the darkness. She didn't know she would become darkness herself, she wasn't aware that her heart would break into million pieces which she couldn't put back. ^ ^ ^ ^ "would you treat me the same way if I wasn't independent and equally strong?" I asked breaking the silence. He stared at me and said "No, I wouldn't" shocked would be an understatement, I was astonished his 3 words made my heart jump but I wasn't prepared for what came next, " I wouldn't treat you the same way not because no woman deserves it, but because I would never, EVER bend to anyone because I won't beg for anyone to stay, because I don't NEED anyone" he said, coldly. That day I realized one thing, whatever this guy had gone through was beyond repair but I wasn't aware that with him, even I' d have to go through the same hell. A strange first year student at Karasuno High, named Atia Ernestine, didn't hesitate to join the team. She is registered as the thirteenth player, the extra player, or the temp. Her role in the team is to replace a player on the court if injured or sick. ❝This girl is uncontrollable. She's too free-spirited and reckless. She never takes anything seriously, but...that's until she goes berserk❞ Atia is known to her team and their rivals for her unpredictable "Berserk Mode" in which she unintentionally defies her team on court and fights on her own, using brute force and fast actions. It also triggers her to do striking moves and not many can keep up. She has no control over her "Berserk Mode" and sees it as an alter-ego. There is a mystery behind her special abilities in which she has to solve on her own. It is connected to her junior high years, in which she has no memory of.
