Book 4 in the Shock Therapy Series.
Narina Yukata is still recovering from her time in Kyoto, and things are not looking bright for the young hero. Stuck in a wheelchair, feeling useless, her recovery is happening far too slowly for her liking. And if that weren't bad enough, other than the immense pain, her weakened powers, and dismal inability to find ANYTHING to do, strange beings, claiming to be the Greek Gods themselves, begin attacking various populated areas, determined to "Get Mortals To worship them Again." And their leader, Zeus, has a crush on Narina (even after knowing her secret, which makes it weird).
Narina is determined to join all the heroes in the fight, and strives to find some way to heal faster, however... Zeus has other plans.. rather awkward plans..

I know Sci-Fi isn't everyone's cup of tea; this may or may not surprise you. I originally posted this 2 years ago as an answer to a writing challenge: A blind woman in love with Medusa. I was rather baffled because romance was not in my wheelhouse. But I gave it a shot and made shiny Sci-Fi out of it. A bit of a blurb: Medusa attends a party, was drugged and S.A 'd by Poseidon. Her brother's behavior embarrasses her so Athena punishes Medusa for "seduction of a full noble" by twisting Medusa's powers to heal into an uncontrollable killing glare, and execution later at Athena's convenance. We catch up with Medusa so years later on her last day, she spends the day with her lover. And they both meet their fates by the hand of Perseus. But a furious Queen Hera has other ideas. The beginning of a titanic war, the likes of which hasn't been seen since humankind escaped their original universe.
A Road to Nowhere
Lacey is an unfortunate 15 year old who happens to have cerebellumpilocyticastrocyroma. It's a type of head cancer which only grows slowly and doesn't spread but builds up pressure in your head, and If pressure is too much you could die. She has basically lived in the hospital all of her life with this malignant cancer. She didn't think that she was going to meet anybody she would get close with until she meets Haymish a 15 year old boy who has major allergens and is still being tested on. When they meet up and become close they go kn adventures of their own that some are dangerous and some are just fun. But they soon come to reality that their medical conditions could take their life at any time. As Lacey gets worse and Haymish attempts to help her she realised that she is just on a Road to Nowhere.Complet
