When best friend Piper Mitchell and Ky Martian are forced in the selection, their worlds are flipped upside down, when Ky is chosen to become a elite. But all to soon Piper forgets who Ky Martian is. Soon her life is just as normal as anyone else. She has amazing grades in school, and wonderful family, great friends, and is on her way to finding her one true match. Until 18 years later when Ky is on the run from Special Teams. Soon Piper is thrusted into a friendship she had long forgot about. But what will Piper do when her whole life is threaten, just by keeping Ky away from Special teams? Outcasts takes place in a dystopian world in an undetermined year in the future, and the political parties depicted in this story - the Republicans and the Democrats - are in no way, shape or form a commentary on their real-life counterparts. I had very little knowledge of American politics when I wrote this story, and if I could go back and change their names I would.
