Rose is a student at St. Urie High school she is 16 yrs old.
Rose only has one friend, her name is Paxton and they have been best friends since 4th Grade nothing can tear them apart except for when Rose became depressed, she started losing weight, she started to cut herself, and Paxton didn't know what to do and that put up a wall between them. But everything got worse when Paxton got a boyfriend Rose felt that the world was against her and there was nobody there for her anymore.
