We started to walk on the side of the road cemented to the bridge. I was confused as to why we were here. Theo turned, looked at us with a smirk, then started to climb on top of the railing on the side of the bridge. Pretty soon, Mike and Logan followed his lead.

I grabbed onto the steel beam and pulled myself up. Then, using all my strength, I started to climb. My head felt light. I wasn't paying attention until my foot slipped. I regained control, then continued to climb until I reached the top.

And when I was living in the moment, Allen kissed me on top of that bridge. And the entire climb down and the way back to the car, maybe he had something to live for. And maybe, just maybe, I did too.
