La croyance populaire affirme que la Faucheuse collecte les âmes afin de les présenter au Tout Puissant. Elle veille au juste équilibre de la Création et s'assure que chacun ait la mort qu'il mérite.
Mais qu'en est-il réellement ? Et si la Mort n'était finalement rien d'autre qu'un simple mortel assoiffé de reconnaissance? Et si nous étions tous à la merci d'un fou

Telles sont les questions auxquelles vont devoir répondre une équipe hétéroclite constituée d'un flic, d'un assassin, d'une journaliste, d'un prêtre et de deux tenancières de bar.
