*This is a fan fiction of what I think should or will happen in the next book of the red queen series 'War Storm'*
Cal chose the crown over Mare Leaving her all alone in the darkness. Mare, choosing to give up for a while leaves for 8 years, making them believe she has died.
For 8 years she collects the last of the newbloods. In this book Mare and Cal face Maven to a battle to the death. Mare still has troubles that she worries about. Knowing something else it out to get her. Someone. She has trouble in love life and with someone who, she thought was dead. It almost eats her alive.
Mare faces many troubles even after Maven is gone and soon she may be too, for good this time.
Will Mare survive this mess or will her lightning wither away, along with her?
