Right People, Wrong Timing is a poetry book based on how broken I am after I lost the love of my life. The words written in these pages are ones of pain, fear, lost and most importantly love. We both knew we were the right people for one another, we just didn't know our lives weren't ready for our love yet. But do the right people with the wrong timing ever get a second chance? My heart makes me hopes so.

People say faith leads to our destiny but I sure don't believe in destiny, our lives are the result of the choices we make in life and when it comes to love, that's when our choices matter the most, we choose when to fall in love when to let it back in our lives, who to share it with and how to define it but love doesn't seem to be that right without perfect timing. I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of.
