As we drove back into my hometown the snow started to fall. The car was warm as opposed to the frozen world just outside this thin sheet of glass. The radio calmy and quietly played the Christmas music as we drove by the slushy roads. At the end of the street, we stopped next to a bus stop. Orange light lit up the bench and sign. He sighed and leaned over and opened the door, and before I could object he unbuckled me and I looked to him as he turned in his seat as he shoved me out of his car by kicking me. I crashed out of the car and landed in the slush, I stared back to him as tears started to form. Before I could croak out any words, he drove off as the door shut. Slowly rising up I watched as his red brake lights turned a corner. Looking at my surroundings, I was back home...
