Kylah Renee Caine is a 16-year old girl trapped inside her own mind. She started doing drugs and drinking heavily after her parents got a divorce 3 years ago. Her father Scott Caine has been ignoring her for 2 years now ever since he married his new wife Krystine. Last year Scott and Krystine gave birth to twins, Jaylin & Jaydin. Kylah feels like the new babies have taken her place. The sparkle that used to be in his eyes for her were now diminished and replaced by the twins. The worst part about it is she hadn't even met her new "little brother & sister" but in her state of mind, it was Krystine and the twins fault that her father was no longer interested in his 1st daughter and 1st born. At times she even felt hatred for him and his "replacement family".
As of a year ago, at 14 years old, Kylah had turned into a full blown drug addict. Her best friends, Aubrielle (Bri), Xavier (Xay), Meghan (Meg), and Meg's brother, Troy have started noticing that Ky is acting very different lately.
