The actual skin color of different humans is affected by many substances, although the single most important substance is the pigment melanin. Melanin is produced within the skin in cells called melanocytes and it is the main determinant of the skin color of darker-skinned humans

The genetic argument is useless, what race you look like is what you are. With this, Omolara realises that the only thing making her black is her outer appearance. With cosmetic enhancements, Omolara begins her transformation into a mixed race women or what she calls, a pseudo biracial hoping it will make her life easier. However, society and people in general are hypocritical pieces of shit.
