Hey guys, this is my first book and I hope you like it. I prefer to stay anonymous for the time being and I may reveal myself as i make more stories. I'm not taking any credit for the cover of this book but if you wanna see some amazing drawings, be sure to follow @izzytheartkid on Instagram. I apologize in advance if chapters take too long to come out or if they're too short but if you're a tween/ young teen reading, then you'll understand the pressure and stress of school and homework. The hidden message/ moral behind this story is that you can go for it by going against it. Go against Stereotypes and go for you. Go for what you want by going against the "norm' " be weird, be geeky, be girly, be a tomboy, be gay, be straight, be bisexual, be trans, be you... before it's too late. ............................................................................ You're in love and you know it but you're too afraid to admit it, so you lie to yourself until that lie becomes a reality. Aleina Leigh gets all the boys in her year, the year above her, and even the year below. However, she never really feels anything for them- she does it for the popularity. But what happens when she does feel something? And she doesn't get the boy...?

Dakota is just like every other 17 year old high school senior. Or that's what everyone thinks. Everyone sees Dakota as this funny, sarcastic, and caring girl. What people don't see is how much she is truly suffering inside. People don't know that the smile she always wears is completely fake. They don't know what's really going on at home. They don't see the bruises she has to cover up every morning. They don't see her having to step up to take care of her two younger siblings. She puts on a fake smile as soon as she walks through the school doors and slowly builds her walls up higher as each day goes on. She thinks no one will ever see past her facade...that is, until three new bad boys come strolling into town taking an automatic interest in Dakota. And one certain bad boy can read her like an open book. Will Dakota eventually let these three bad boys in? Or will she keep everything in until she finally reaches her breaking point?
