Amanda Jones shouldn't be alive. There has been many times where the phrase 'life on the line' has become reality. There are things a teenager shouldn't have to go through, but Amanda has done it all.
The plan to move to LA in hopes of finding a new life, turns bad when she enters a new high school and the attention is set on her. The new kid. When Amanda is paired with the school's jock, Jason Wright, they grow close and he manages to get to her. What happens when all the fake identities, the fake friends, and the secrets come out?
Jason Wright is the definition of don't judge a book by its cover. He may look tough, and problem free, but he is fighting a war at home. A drug dealing and emotionally abusive dad, a hope clinging mom, and a dead sister, Jason can't have any type of freedom. When he meets Amanda, he believes there's something different. Nothing to the girls he played around with. Will they be each other's saviour like all those cliche stories? Or will their pasts get in the way of what they think is right?
In a book filled with snobs, players, drama, and secrets, what will happen when time runs out, and Amanda can do nothing but face the truth she desperately tries to hide?
