**Innocents**. What a meaningful word, don't you think? We all have or had our innocence. But what is considered "our" innocence or "your" innocence? The word "innocent" can signify being found not guilty, maintaining your sanity, or simply appearing innocent. There is so much meaning packed into such a small word. Ni'Ari was once innocent. Ni'Ari loved Alanis, but they could never see eye to eye. One day, Alanis decided it was time to call it quits, and so their connection faded away. Yet, Ni loved her-she always did. Ni loved how she could be herself around Alanis and how Alanis made her feel. But how? Ni had never actually met her. She couldn't grasp why she was so attached to Alanis. What if Alanis was someone completely different? What if she wasn't exactly who she claimed to be? It's that little "what if," that speck of faith, that kept Ni hanging on. However, Ni felt there was someone else out there. No matter how hard she tried to focus on Alanis, she sensed another soul waiting for her. But why? What purpose does that person serve? Could that soul be the one Ni had been searching for-the one to show her what real love is? The one to teach her what acceptance feels like? So many questions, yet few answers. Is love really worth it? Why does Ni need it so desperately? What is it that she believes love can do? Eventually, we will find out; but will what they have last? • Will their connection be worth it? They've known each other for years but have never met. • Will things change? • What will happen? • The real question is: Is Alanis the one, or is she just a distraction from who Ni truly needs? • Ni dreams, but what are her dreams about? Perhaps we should be asking about whom. The life of Ni-a thrilling life at that. (This book is very explicit, so please be advised.) ©All Rights Reserved

"You're nicer when drunk" I state looking ahead. "You don't know me that well" she replies. "Neither do you but look where we are now" I murmur starting the car. "Who doesn't know you? You've literally fucked every girl in school... Oh sorry, city". I chuckle... wow I have a legacy "Nice". "What's so funny?" I look over at her a grin on my face... She doesn't smile back. "What? You want me to fuck you?" I joke but she still doesn't smile back. "I don't wanna be fucked by a walking STD thank you very much". Well ouch. "That actually hurt Sparks" I wince "But don't worry I'm not interested in you in that kind of way either, you're not my type" I lie. "I'm surprised a whore like you would have a type" she shoots back. "Holy shit Sparks, you kiss your mother with that mouth?" I chuckle and she rolls her eyes. ** Let's make mistakes, Is a book about a girl who doesn't realize that there's more to life than drinking and sleeping with multiple women. "I already killed your mother, Cam." As the words left my enemy's mouth like a mocking sneer, I growled under my breath at the mention of my old name. Memories started to boil up that I had been wanting to squash deep into my heart. Bad memories. "As you can guess, I'm here to finish the job." He continued with that ever-present sinister smirk on his face. And in that moment, a sudden burst of confidence just appeared within me. Or blatant stupidity. 'I'll take either one.' I silently admitted to myself. I rolled my eyes at his so-called 'threat', not really intimidated in the least. "Yeah, like that went so well the first time. The first time, you fucked up enough to get caught by the police." I pointed out. "The second time, your grown-ass men got their asses handed to them by two teenagers." I snorted at him. "Your odds aren't looking too good here, Berti." ~•~ Losing her father? Lovely. Getting in a car accident with her aunt, uncle, and cousin and being the sole survivor? Fantastic. Losing her mother because a deranged psychopath holds a grudge even better than The Grinch? Amazing. Being ostracized from her own family save from her paternal grandparents, and getting the blame for her mother's death? Cherry on top of the cake. Having to make sure three idiotic twats don't get themselves killed because they couldn't mind their own bloody business? Bloody hell, that's an entire ice cream cake with ten pounds of gummy bears. ~•~ Join Grace Stanton as she faces her demons and the demons of her past all while trying not to commit murder against her three new friends. Fun times. (First book in the Gilded series) ~•~ [#1 Streetracer - 4/21/21] [#1 Gangs - 9/16/21] [#1 Boxer - 9/12/21] [#1 Fighter - 12/11/21] [#2 Boxing - 9/3/21] [#1 Girlpower - 2/12/21]

Because of that woman she did not stop suffering, wherever she went she suffered verbal or physical abuse and everything was orchestrated by this woman; she didn't know until she was about to faint. "Why?" She asked this unarmed woman without knowing why she hated him so much. She never did anything to hurt him. She just laughed viciously without answering him, she didn't have to waste her time with an insect; leaving La to die imprisoned in the house where she was kidnapped. "Answer me!" She got up from her bed screaming "Eh? This looks like my room; Did I reincarnate myself in the past?" She ran to the bathroom just to see that her assumption was correct. She thanked the heavens for this second chance by promising that she wouldn't be fooled a second time.
