A mother's sacrifice for her family.
A pirate's never ending search for treasure.
A man's desire to be with the one meant for him alone.
Which would be very boring if they were human. Lucky for us, they are werewolves. With a twist.
I recommend you read the informational tidbits chapter. If you skip it, you may become lost in my story. Plus, it contains a few helpful tips.
Thank you holyreader101 for my awesome cover.
Here is an interview with the pirate alpha. Enjoy!
"Hello viewers, Max here. Coming to you live from your device," announces the reporter. "I'm here today with Alpha-"
"No names!" the leader interrupts Max. "You may refer to me as boss."
"Okay boss," replies Max. "What can you tell me about your role as antagonist in this story?"
"Anti-whats-ist? What the hell is that? The only role I play is the bad wolf and main character in this story that's all about me."
"Umm... the antagonist is the bad wolf, and the main character is the protagonist, not you. Even though, you do play a major role," Max rattles off.
"Why can't I be the main character? Why is it that proty-whatsy? This story should only be about me. Who cares about the others," the leader growls and spots the feran.
"I'm sorry, boss, but you're only the antagonist. Someone else is the protagonist," says Max trying to clarify the facts.
"Then show me the proty-whatsy, so I can kill them and become the sole owner of this story," the leader states calling the feran to his side.
"I can't do that, and uh... boss? Why are you bringing the feran over?" Max asks fearfully.
The leader sighs, "You disappoint me, Max. I shall make this story mine if it's the last thing I do." He turns to the feran, "Hunter kill."
Savoring Max's screams, the leader comments, "Now where did you put that proty-whatsy?"
Searching Max's belongings for clues to the protagonist's location, the leader keeps an eye on the feran's progress. "Dammit Hunter, where the hell did you find some wolfsbane?"
Then it hit me. The scent of my mate. The one I'd love and spend the rest of my days with.
"Mine," he growled. I was forced up against the wall as he began to kiss me roughly. I managed to take a peek at my mate. The school's very own player. Otherwise known as the guy who infuriates me to the depths of hell.
I shoved him off me and made him look me in the eye, "I don't care if you're going to be Alpha. You will always be the jerk I hate and the player I despise. I will not be looked upon as another of your minions. Yeah, I just rejected you." I snarled.

Shayla Hale is just another 15 year old werewolf, eagerly waiting for her 16th birthday so she can find her mate. She wasn't popular, and she wasn't a loner. Following her around, was the school's player, with a hobby of annoying her. She hated him for taking so much interest in her, since she knew all he was is a disappointment.
Chase Anderson is the school's player, and the guy every girl swoons for. He's always found Shayla interesting, since she wasn't like the others. Witty comebacks, never sparing him a second glance. Being the hard to resist, soon to be Alpha of his Dark Wolfe pack, he needs to find his Luna. What he wasn't prepared for was his very own mate rejecting him.
Will Shayla stay true to her word? Will Chase prove his mate wrong? What happens when Chase goes back to his player ways? How about when Shayla's childhood lover returns?

I wrote this when I was 12/13 and it was the first romance/teen-fic/werewolf story I ever wrote at the time. Please go easy on my 12/13 year old self 😬
