Cynthia Volksham has spent most of her adult life by herself. In the remote Canadian wilderness, she has crafted a life with isolation as its foundation. However, as the Fair Maiden learns more about the troubles of the village, she learns more about why there is chaos and destruction in the world and Underworld and tries to find a way to solve it. But no matter what she does, no one can help her through this situation. All she can do is take simple hints from the creatures of the woods. Who knows what responsibilities lie ahead.
