It's three o'clock in the morning and a security guard is working the night shift at a scientific facility, four teenagers are getting high in the stairwell of an apartment building, and a girl is contemplating suicide. In this world, the government is almost completely controlled by corporations, and every year more and more kids are being born with psychic abilities.

Urban Fallout is a layered mystery set in the near future, in a super-city three thousand square kilometres in size. In the middle of the night, unrelated characters are sent on a mission they do not understand, in an adventure story set in an urban wasteland. 

New Gods, political unrest, and a mysterious day every year where the city goes dark. Valuit is at a tipping point, and it's up to the most unlikely group of heroes to save it. If they fail? Some say it's the end of the world.

The world is in tatters from the Great Nuke War, humanity has retreated to seven cities that float above the dangerous atmosphere below. But something has changed in humanity. Certain people now posses genetic traits that can result in mutations allowing them to have power. As part of a government program Lightning Storm was created in the lab, nurtured by chemicals, pain and a hard government regimented system designed to create the ultimate weapon. She was genetically modified to have wings, and be a biological weapon to keep peace. But she has long escaped the holding facility where the 13 mutants grew up together, and now lives a dangerous life as an assassin hiding from government detection, slowly picking off high government officials as a day job, while secretly leading and protecting the now flourishing rebellion that will one day strike back. That is it was secret until the government discovered the 7th city base. Now Lightning and the rebels must struggle to finalize preparations within the two month deadline. And as if additional stress was required, Lightning's dark secret is discovered in a hunt for the 13th mutant. Will they be ready to battle the tyrannic government?

We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. After a nuclear war nearly in 2150 the whole Earth has become uninhabitable for humans. There are some major cities which are still running but have very scarce resources such as food, water and oil. There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof. The year is now 2205 which is the beginning for Earth to become how it was before. There are a group of people called The Warriors who go out and try to look for resources, facing death daily. A seventeen year old boy tries to steal food for his friend, he gets caught and is sentenced to death. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?

As children growing up, we were always destined to be a scientist, to continue the research of our fathers and forefathers. We never questioned this, it was just the way things were. However, one day, two children were picked from class and taken away. They had never been seen again. All the other children in the class were confused, some frightened, some angry they had not been chosen. But no matter the emotions, it remained a mystery. A month passed, and two more children had been picked to leave the class, and they hadn't returned either. The children started to feel restless, and the parents of the missing children never said a word, only went to work and back to their rooms, never smiling. This month, the children flitter about the classroom nervously. This would be the day that they would take two more children, if they did it again. And, expectedly, the Overseer had appeared in the classroom. She calmed the children, then read two names off of her clipboard. And she read my name.

Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem. Evita isn't ready to leave.
