Daniel Howell was a little. He was with his Shane Dawson, his current daddy. This daddy; however, wasn't a good one. Dan would always run to Kellin for help, for comfort, for protection from his daddy. Kellin had a crush on the male and was always there for him, not once ever leaving the boy alone. Soon Shane and Dan split up, Kellin promised himself now that he would be taking care of the little boy, not letting anything hurt him again as they became closer and closer.
Also! The things in the book are not 100% accurate to what happened in the role play because I don't have the best of memory.

Vic doesn't think he needs to be in that place at all. But they are forced to spend time with each other. Until the two boys make an unlikely connection they never saw coming.
